Liquor shops to remain closed during Ramazan

Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation, Shabbir Ahmed Qaimkhani has said that all liquor shops in the Province will remain shut during the holy month of Ramazan.Violation in this regard will not only entail cancellation of shop license but also action will be taken against shop owner under Hudood Ordinance, 1979, the minister said.
He held out a strict warning to liquor shop owners to keep their business closed during the month of Ramazan.
