PTCL has announced 15 percent increment in salaries for all regular PTCL employees effective from the next month. In this regard a press release was issued by the company here on Wednesday said that the decision had been taken on the basis of a proposal moved by the management at the recently held meeting of the Board of Directors of the company.
Besides, salary raise, the Board of Directors also approved Ramazan gifts for all regular employees and NCPG staff below grade 16. PTCL management, while announcing the package said that the management and board recognise the services of the PTCL employees and encourage them to contribute towards the progress of the company.
PTCL is the largest of telecom operator in Pakistan is now managed by Etisalat, a UAE based Telecom Company. Its current operation is functioning in various countries, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sudan, Niger, Ivory Coast, Benin, Togo Tanzania, Burkina Faso, Gabon and Central African Republican. It is expanding its operations in the Middle East and Africa too with a vision to become one of the top ten-telecom service providers in the global market by the year 2010.-PR
