The Lahore High Court (LHC) Bar Association will organise a all Pakistan representative conference on September 22 at Karachi Hall of the bar. Presidents, secretaries of the district and tehsil bars, vice chairmen of bar councils from all over of Pakistan will attend the moot.
The lawters moot is aimed at framing a future strategy against General Musharaf's re-election as President of Pakistan. Ehsan Bohn, Bar President informed the newsmen that lawyers would not allow Musharaf to be re-elected. They have threatened to besiege the office of election commission if Musharaf submits his nomination papers.
Bohn said lawyers would start a "Phase-II" struggle against present regime from the day nomination papers are filed. The bar would observe black day on the day Musharraf submits the nomination. He urged all bars representatives to view suggestions in the conference that may strengthen their movement.
