Losers outclassed gainers at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where selling-pressure intensified in trend-setters moved the entire ready-board in downward direction amid decrease in index. ISE-10 Index showed a decline of 15.93 points as the ISE index moved from 2,970.32 to 2954.39 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 1,796,200 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,918,000 shares. Total 131 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (73) closed in negative territory, 54 landed in plus column, whereas four companies remained glued to their overnight levels.
The turnover of Javed Omer Vohra was 438,100 shares. The volume of Arif Habib Securities was 227,900 shares. The volume of Pakistan Cement was 174,500 shares.
