Housing bylaws: Punjab to ensure implementation

The government will take stringent actions to ensure implementation of by-laws in the housing societies across the province and an action has been planned in this regard, Punjab Minister Co-operative, Malik Muhammad Anwar informed in a meeting to review the performance of housing societies on Thursday.
He warned stern action against land mafia and announced to eliminate irregularities found in the allotment of housing societies. He was of view that amendment in the co-operative Act 1925 has eliminated frauds and offered security to the payments of allottees. High officials of the department also attended the meeting.
