World Tourism Day was celebrated at Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) keeping in view this year's theme "Tourism Opens Doors for Women". Ministry of Tourism and Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) held an essay and photographic competitions in the varsity to celebrate the day.
The essay competition under topic "Tourism Opens Doors for Women" participated by a good number of students. Samia Asif and Khaleeq Ur Rehman won the two top positions of the competition.
In photographic competition (amateur), Sana Anis and A K Fauzi won top prizes while in photographic competition (professional) Yasir Nisar and Aftab Rana won the prizes.
Razia Sultana, Hina Khan, Suhail Akhtar, Bushra Amir and Osama Ahmed were given special prizes for their participation in photographic competition while Maria Mehmood, Cadet Abdul Samad, Kashif Butt and Nabeeha Chaudhry were given special prizes for their participation in essay competition.
