Pakistani students are welcomed to China for their studies as Chinese wish speedy progress for Pakistan in all spheres of life. The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Pakistan, Luo Zhao Hui said this on Chinese national day organised by Chinese students union of International Islamic University (IIU) here on Friday.
He thanked the students and faculty members of the university for hosting over 300 Chinese students and said that relation between China and Pakistan are exemplary and beyond any doubt. President IIU, Dr Anwar Hussain Siddiqui on the occasion said IIU is now a general university in which the admission process of the students is being streamlined.
"Chinese government should recommend their students to us, so that we can get more brilliant students from China, who are really motivated to get education from here," he added. Dr Anwar Hussain said that university is open to any one and teaching the students on the modern scientific line like other universities.
Congratulating the Chinese students on their national day, Dr Siddiqui assured them of full support of the university and hoped to establish department of Chinese language soon. He said that relations between Pakistan and China are from heart-to-heart and these relations are time tested and deep rooted. At the end Dr Siddiqui presented shield to the Chinese Ambassador.
