Medialogic Pakistan has launched TV audience measurement (TAM) to assess the performance, viewership and popularity of TV channels in the country. The TAM was launched at a seminar, organised by Medialogic (Pvt) Limited here on Tuesday, to relate the details of the programme, besides providing initial training to people belonging to different media organisations.
Medialogic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Salman Danish Naseer, while giving presentation on the programme, said that the Media Reporter would evaluate media usage data generated with the electronic, measuring instruments Telecontrol VIII Standard.
The software was developed by IHA-GfK AG in Switzerland and was used in various counties by market researchers, media agencies, TV stations and advertisers, he said. Salman said that his firm was committed to promote the software to bring the standards of TV channels of the country at par with international standards.
Experts of the software informed that the Media Reporter had been further developed to enable it to cover multimedia data and generate cross-media evaluations as well.
