Punjab University vice chancellor chairs AS&RB meeting

The Punjab University's Advance Studies and Research Board (AS&RB) in its meeting held on Thursday examined evaluation reports sent by examiners and approved the panel of examiners for various scholars.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Arif Butt chairing the meeting stressed the need for holding meetings with research supervisors and PhD scholars to guide them in their research work and to improve their intellectual abilities.
He said the university is playing vital and important role to fulfil the national educational requirements. The university has established new departments keeping in view modern needs of the nation. The implementation of evaluation systems has raised the standard of education of the university.
