Vehari police have finalised a master plan to avert chances of any untoward incident on the occasion of forthcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. In a meeting chaired by District Police Officer (DPO) Malik Tasaduq Hayat Awan, officials said that heavy police deployment would be made at Eidgah, mosques and Imambargah.
DPO said that Station House Officers (SHOs) would be responsible for security of worship places in their respective jurisdiction. Meeting also finalised the programme to install secret cameras to protect important installations and worship places. DPO asked Ulema and Mashaikh to help administration and police in promoting tolerance and keep a strict vigil over dubious elements, who may try to haarm peace on the eve of Eid-u-Fitr.
