Justice Wajihuddin (Retd) on Saturday expressed surprise over the failure of opposition leadership to make their strike call a success. Talking to a private television channel Wajihuddin said that it is a strange situation and the people of Pakistan are confused.
It so appears that orders come from somewhere else and the ruling as well as opposition politicians are bound to obey them, he said. He however, appreciated the lawyers' community for holding anti-government rallies to protest the presidential election.
