Fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar on Saturday appeared before a three-member disciplinary committee in the inquiry he was facing the charge of indiscipline. Shoaib Akhtar gave some documents to the inquiry committee members in his favour.
Afterward, Shafqat Naghmi told reporters that the inquiry had been completed, but after presentation of some documents by Shoaib Akhtar, the committee decided to examine them. He told the reporters that decision in the case would be announced before Eid. Moreover, it is learnt that Shoaib has requested the PCB to allow him to play for the Indian Cricket League.
