Punjab Health Minister Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal and Provincial Bait ul Maal Minister Chaudhry Muhammad Ejaz Shafi have congratulated President Pervez Musharraf on his re-election with thumping majority in presidential elections 2007.
They said, in their statements that President General Pervez Musharraf had made more and sincere efforts for stability of democracy and strengthening of democratic institutions than any other politician, whereas, under the wrong impression of heavy mandate some politicians adopted a dictatorial attitude and tried to set up a kingdom.
The Ministers said that credit goes to President Pervez Musharraf that not only assemblies are completing their constitutional term but effective policies were also implemented for the promotion of education, health, industries and other sectors in the best interest of the country. They said that President Pervez Musharraf has been re-elected and in consequence of his re-election, the country has been secured from internal and external threats.
