Controller Examinations Punjab University Professor Dr Taqi Zahid Butt has announced that B.A/B.Sc. supplementary examination-2007 would commence from 23rd of this month. Detail date-sheet has already been issued while the process of sending roll number slips to candidates has also been started, he added.
He said that 37,840 candidates were appearing in the examination for which 131 centres had been set up in 21 districts of five divisions of Punjab.
He said that 24 examination centres had been set up in Faisalabad division, 32 at Gujranwala division, 39 at Lahore division, 26 at Rawalpindi division, six at Sargodha division and four at capital city Islamabad.
One examination centre has also been established at Quetta at Federal Government Degree College.
Professor Butt has also advised the candidates not to bring their mobile phones, precious belongings, helping material etc along with them at examination centres otherwise UMC would be registered against them. He said that to eliminate booti mafia special monitoring teams had also been formed that would inspect examination centres from time to time.
