The Wateen Telecom has launched a range of technology platforms, including the world's first nation-wide deployment of Wimax True Wireless Broadband for the corporate and public sectors in Pakistan on October 1, being offered across the country.
The Wateen Telecom, has been set up with a vision to bring a digital revolution in Pakistan by providing quality, reliable and affordable broadened telephony, Internet and solutions, said a press release issued here on Wednesday. This new launch came after the success of Abu Dhabi Group's investments in banking and telecom sectors in Pakistan,
"Our goal is to become the leading 'Carrier's Carrier' in the communication and media sector to deliver next generation network services right to out client's doorstep," the release said.
The sources quoted the Chief Executive Officer, Tariq Malik, "the Wateen Telecom believes in investing in Pakistan, as the right resources and tools at our disposal, nation can become an example for the world in terms of revolutionising people's life through the technology".
