Mobilink has brought honour for Pakistan for being the only South Asian company to be represented at the World Communications Award 2007. Mobilink received "the Best Operator in a Developing Market" category award. The awards will be announced at a ceremony on November 28 at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London.
The growth and progress made in Pakistan in the telecommunication sector is one of the key reasons why the international focus is on fast-moving economies of the developing world.
Mobilink is a forerunner in the mobile industry and was the obvious choice for the coveted nomination. Mobilink President Chief Executive Officer Zouhair A Khaliq said, "We are happy to be nominated and represent Pakistan on this foreign platform of the World Communications Award 2007.-PR
