President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) Nasir Khan appreciated deal on a pipeline project with Iran for supply of Iranian natural gas to Pakistan.
President ICCI commenting on the significance of the Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement (GSPA) described it as an important step towards boosting the bilateral relations between the two countries says a press release issued here on Wednesday. He appreciated government decision of finalising the deal on 7.4 billion gas pipeline project without the participation of India.
He said that it is a new initiative between the two brotherly and neighbouring countries, which will lead to enhanced energy co-operation between the two states. President ICCI suggest that this project should be completed quickly to overcome energy crises in the country.
