The NWFP's Caretaker Chief Minister Shams ul Mulk on Wednesday called on President General Pervez Musharraf and discussed with him the situation in the province and the tribal areas. The Chief Minister informed the President that all steps would be taken to ensure holding of free, fair and transparent elections for the provincial assembly.
He said peace and progress of the province would be ensured during his tenure.
