Cottonseed oilcake prices were sharply higher on the grain market on Wednesday as most of the trading centres reopened after observing long holidays, dealers said.
On the seed side cottonseed oilcake with bag low type gained Rs 30 to Rs 580 and good type rose by Rs 90 to Rs 600. Cottonseed oilcake with bag Punjab inferior type gained Rs 75 to Rs 400 and best type picked up Rs 30 at Rs 450, they said.
On the cereal side wheat old shed Rs 20 to Rs 1580 and new type also lost the same amount, they said. Other commodities did not move any side in process of trading, they said.
