The Karachi Port handled 409,601 tonnes cargo including 348,947 tonnes import, 60,654 tonnes export cargo and 4,724 containers (TEUs) during last 120 hours ending at 0700 hours on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 249,917 tonnes dry cargo including 166,206 tonnes general cargo; 8,914 tonnes fertiliser; 58,678 tonnes coal; 15,692 tonnes cement; 427 tonnes other cargo and 159,684 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Twenty-one ships namely YM Sun, Hyundai Highway, OEL Trust, Ninos, Bunga Delima, Corinthiakos, Chong Chon Gang, Banga, Iron Butterfly, Netflocement XI, Chemstar Brave, A Dragon, Akaki, Ibn Batouta, Ulcas, Sp 5-Eric G. Gibson, MOL Admiration, Satha Bhum, Norasia Alps, Dong Shan Ocean and An Shun Jiang sailed out to sea during the report period.
Twenty-two vessels viz Ninos, Akaki, Solar Europe, Corinthiakos, A Dragon, Chemstar Brave, OEL Trust, Red Sea Spirit, Bunga Delima, Sp 5-Eric G. Gibson, MOL Admiration, Satha Bhum, Norasia Alps, An Shun Jiang, Lalazar, Al asr, African Lark, Gulf Bridge, APL Shenzhen, Thor Falcon, Dardela and C P 38 are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Thor Falcon, APL Shenzhen and Al Asr expected to sail on Wednesday, while two vessels viz Lake Hernai and Red Sea Spirit are expected to sail on Thursday.
Three vessels namely MT Swat, MT Chem Lily and Hyundai Advance due to arrive on Wednesday, while six ships namely Fair Spirit, Kota Ganteng, OEL Spirit, CMA CGM Parana, Iran Tabatabaei and Nan Chang Hai are due to arrive on Thursday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 93,562 tonnes comprising 78,109 tonnes import and 15,453 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 3,223 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 9,409 tonnes diesel oil; 2,839 tonnes carbon oil; 11,730 tonnes coal; 9,104 tonnes chemicals; 5,689 tonnes iron ore and 54,791 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two ships namely MT Keefan and MV Maha Rose sailed out to sea on Wednesday morning, while another four vessels viz CV MSC Logano, CV Nedlloyd Oceania, MT Liquid Success and MV Al-Rafal are expected to sail on the same day.
A total of seven ships namely ACX Jasmine, MSC Aurora, Shina, Golden Glory, Chem Lily, CMA CGM Tulip andMSC Federica carrying containers, chemicals and edible oil are currently at the outer anchorage.
Nine vessels viz CV MSC Logano, CV Nedlloyd Oceania, MV Skipper Ali, MV Torm Marlene, MV Novios Hlos, MT Al-Rafal, MT Keefan, MT Liquid Success and MV Maha Rose are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, seeds, coal, carbon oil, diesel oil, chemicals and iron ore respectively during last 24 hours.
Four vessels viz CV ACX Jasmine, CV MSC Aurora, MV Shina and MT Golden Glory due to take berths at Container Terminal, Multipurpose Terminal and Engro Terminal respectively on Wednesday. MT Vema Oceania due to arrive on Wednesday, while another ship namely CV APL Almandine is due to arrive on Thursday.
