FPCCI delegation will attend the Economic Forum and 8th general assembly of ECO Chamber of Commerce and Industry scheduled to be held at Istanbul on October 26, 2007.
The FPCCI President Tanvir Ahmad Sheikh, who will lead the delegation, highlighted the role of FPCCI and its future activities in Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO) during his address. Other members of FPCCI delegation included vice president Zubair Tufail, chairman Pakistan Turkey Business Council of FPCCI Amjad Rafi, Nasiruddin and M. A. Lodhi.
The general assembly, attended by national chambers of ECO countries, will focus on the scope and objectives of the Business Forum and review the recommendations made by the first ECO Business Forum. The participants of Business Forum will exchange view/discussion on the implementation of ECO Trade Agreement and Agreement on Promotion and Protection of Investment.
