Two persons were killed in separate incidents in the district during the last 24 hours, police said. Falak Sher was allegedly slaughtered by Mohammed Imran in connivance with Rukhsana, wife of the victim. The assailants managed to escape in Chak 174/m near here.
Police have registered a case on the complaint of brother of the deceased. In another incident in Chak 9/3 R, Zeeshan had fight with Talib Hussain and two persons accused in this case.
Father of Talib, Khurshid Ahmed, intervened to resolve the issue but the accused persons hit him on his head causing serious injuries. The elderly person succumbed to his injuries later, said police which registered a case on the complaint of son of the victim.
