Sindh Minister for Women Development Dr Saida Malik has appealed to all political parties to adopt an unanimous approach in handling the situation emerging due to terrorists activities in the country. Talking to APP here on Friday, Dr Saida, who is also President Pakistan Muslim League (Q) Sindh, said.
The incident that caused loss of many lives during the procession being taken out by the supporters of Benazir Bhutto on her arrival in Karachi had to be condemned by all. "This was a brutal attempt to derail efforts being made for transition towards full fledged democratic set-up in the country," Dr Saida Malik said. She also passionately appealed to the politicians to desist from issuing statements, which may provoke public sentiments.
"The loss is our collective loss as the innocent lives who may have had their respective political affiliations were above all human beings and Pakistanis," the senior woman politician commented.
