Police have announced cash awards and certificates for those officials who arrested the culprits carrying lethal weapons in a car. The Regional Police Officer (RPO) Region III, Nasir Khan Durrani told reporters that the cash award and commending certificates would encourage the police officials.
He said that the police party stopped a car No 6298-KAA driven by Wahid of Kallar Syedan at Attock Khurd and recovered arms and ammunition from the occupants of the car during search. Ten Kalashinkovs (AK 47) assault rifles, 10 pistols and over 10,000 bullets were recovered. He said that the investigation is underway to arrest others culprits.
