Former PPP MNA from Faisalabad Chaudhry Nisar Akbar on Wednesday expressed full confidence in the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) the leadership and announced to join it with his supporters. He made this announcement at a press conference addressed by party President Sardar Zulifqar Ali Khosa here at the party's office.
Khosa ruled out any possibility of joining hands with those supporting the dictatorship and caused harm to the country. He added that a statement by PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain about reconciliation with the PML-N might be his wish. He said the APDM was still intact and the opposition parties including the PML-N would take all the decisions from the platform of the alliance.
When asked about the poor response by the PML-N on arrival in Islamabad, Khosa said the government had arrested numerous party workers and resorted to worst atrocities, leaving no room for the party to show its strength. He said there were differences between the Jamaat-i-Islami and the JUI though both were negotiating to resolve them.
