Separate bins for solid waste disposal suggested

A local industrialist has suggested that separate bins with different colour markings for disposal solid waste be placed in different industries and locations.
In a latter to the city government, an industrialist of North Karachi industrial area Nisar Ahmed stressed the need for preparing an inventory of solid wastes to be collected from both domestic areas and major industrial units.
Such an exercise would be helpful in setting up recycling projects, he said, and suggested appropriate methodologies for their safe disposal. He noted that first priority of sold waste management must be for recycling of these wastes in the industry.
