More than Half million faithful wearing green and marooned turbans joined the second day session of the three-day international congregation of Dawat-i-Islami (DI), a non-political religious group. Peoples are seen praying for the blessings of Almighty Allah and repenting on their sins.
A faithful Shahid Attari said," we have gathered from all over the country and different neighbouring countries like India, Afghanistan, Nepal, Iran,UAE for the purification of our soul and belief and changing our mindset."
Muhammad Saleem Qadri Attari, a leader of Daawat-i-Islami, said in his sermon," Islam does not permit extremism, terrorism, killing of even non-Muslims, bomb blasts and suicidal attack and it is a religion of peace, love, tolerance, brotherhood and we should follow the path of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)."
