Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Saturday extended last date for sending the comments and suggestions on the Draft Code of Conduct for the political parties and the contesting candidates upto November 6. The draft was circulated to the political parties on October 24 and they were invited for sending their comments and suggestions about the draft by November 3.
"However, Chief Election Commissioner has extended the date upon request of the political parties," Secretary of the Commission said in a statement issued here on Saturday. The Secretary further mentioned that the draft code, alongwith the comments and suggestions, would be placed before the Commission for consideration in a meeting with the representatives of the political parties.
