Westminster Securities USA will take Pakistani companies public in New York (NY) Stock Exchange, said a press release issued by Investment Division on Wednesday. Jung Min Choi, Corporate Finance Representative and Imran Khan of Westminster Securities Corporation, USA called on Secretary Investment Division Mushtaq Malik in Islamabad.
Westminster Securities Corporation, USA is headquartered in New York City, and was founded in 1971. It provides comprehensive financial services for a large number of individual and institutional clients. The Secretary BOI welcomed the delegates and apprised them about the economic progress made by Pakistan during the last 8 years of President General Parvez Musharraf.
The foreign exchange reserves increased to $16 billion, foreign investment including FDI rose this year to $8.4 billion. Secretary BOI further elaborated investment opportunities available for foreign investors with higher rates of return.
Jung Min Choi appreciated Pakistan's economic and informed BOI of his mission to take Pakistani companies public in the New York Stock Exchange. Secretary BOI assured to provide support to the delegates in coordination of meetings and any other assistance during their stay in Pakistan.-PR
