Pakistan's Ambassador to United States Mehmood Ali Durrani on Saturday said President General Pervez Musharraf's decision regarding elections and uniform was not under any pressure, terming it as 'well-considered and deliberated.'
Talking to a private television channel the ambassador said the President time and again had expressed his views regarding the upcoming general elections and doffing uniform at any suitable time.
When asked whether the emergency would be lifted in few days, weeks or months, the envoy said "it is my assessment that emergency would be lifted probably in weeks."
