A three-member bench of the Supreme Court, comprising Chief Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar, Justice Faqir Mohammad Khokhar and Justice Mohammad Moosa K Leghari, will hear two cases here on Monday, November 12, 2007. The two cases pertain to ejectment and declaration (SJ) (EH) summons matters.
Only those lawyers and journalists who have security cards issued by the Registrar are allowed to enter the Supreme Court premises. It is expected that at least three more Supreme Court Judges will take oath of office this week so that a new 11-member bench of the apex court could hear the petitions against re-election of General Pervez Musharraf for another five-year term beginning from November 16, 2007.
