Sindh University has conducted pre entry test for admissions in all bachelors' degree programmes for academic session 2008 here on Sunday. The test was conducted at Faculty of Arts building, Allama I.I.Kazi Campus Jamshoro, under the administrative arrangements of SU Testing Centre for Admission and Employment headed by Professor Dr M.Y. Khuhawar.
A total 8605 candidates, including 1822 female and 6783 male from different parts of the country, appeared in the test. 500 invigilators among faculty members of the university performed their duties in various examination blocks on the occasion.
Prior to start of the test admit cards of all the candidates were checked at main entrances of examination blocks by senior faculty members and staff members of the university.
Vice Chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui alongwith Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Rafia Ahmed Shaikh, Deans of the Faculties, Members of Senate, Syndicate, Academic Council, visited the examination centres.
