A complete shutter down strike was observed in Larkana and other parts of district on Sunday on the call of Pakistan People Party (PPP) Sindh. The roads and markets were remained close and heavy police contingent and other law enforcement agencies were deployed at various spots and sensitive places of city.
The PPP Women Wing Larkana chapter staged a protest demonstration outside Jinnah Bagh Press Club, which was led by Tauqir Fatima Bhutto divisional President PPP Women Wing Larkana. The protestors chanted slogans against the sweeping curbs on media and harassment of media men political leaders by General Pervez Musharaf-led government.
