TUSDEC, PMTF to promote making of machine tools

Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC) and Pakistan Machine Tool Factory (PMTF) will join hands to promote local manufacturing of machinery, especially the machine tools.
This was agreed at a meeting here on Tuesday attended by TUSDEC Chief Executive Officer Suhael Ahmed, PMTF Managing Director Dr Muhammad Ashraf Butt and other senior officials of both the organisations.
Dr Butt while giving details about the working of PMTF said that the PMTF, a precision engineering goods manufacturing enterprise in Pakistan, was engaged in production of machine tools, automotive transmissions and axles components, gears for locomotives, pressure die cast parts and other products. He also asked TUSDEC to procure machinery, especially the turning centres from PMTF for its tools, dies and moulds centres in Karachi and Gujranwala.
