The One-day workshop on importance of e-Library was organised by Mehran University of engineering and Technology (Muet), Jamshoro in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC) on Tuesday. The workshop highlighted the need of creating awareness of electronic books on internet and access of online information.
The acting vice chancellor Muet Dr Rafique Abro presided over the workshop. Addressing at the workshop, the Dr Rafique Abro appreciate the HEC for providing assistance to hold such informative workshop.
He said that Muet E-Library and online information center was first ever library established in Pakistan, which provide an opportunity to the students to access online information throughout the world.
The project coordinator of digital library Hassan N Zaidi stressed the need for organising such awareness workshops for students in order to guide them that how can they access required information through e-books.
