A consultative meeting of representatives from NGOs and important members of civil society called by the Action Committee of the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) will held at the CPNE Secretariat, Farid Chambers' at 1.30pm today.
The meeting will discuss the current situation and come up with suggestions aimed at resolving the current crisis created by amendments in the laws relating to print and electronic media. The meeting is being held as part of CPNE's solidarity with other bodies worldwide observing November 15 as Solidarity Day for Democracy.-PR
