Karachi based Industrial Associations have started preparations to hold annual elections in the second half of December this year. Site Association of Industry (SAI) and All Pakistan Textile Processing Industry Association (APTPMA) are likely to announce election schedule in next few days.
Election of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) are likely to be held in last week of December. Tentative date has not yet been decided. Industrial associations have already updated their membership lists and called meeting to finalise election schedule.
Under the new Trade Organisation Rules (TRO) election of all trade bodies and associations will be held every year in the month of December and new incoming elected governing bodies would take-over from first of January.
