The profit after tax of Siemens (Pakistan) Engineering Company Limited has tremendously increased to Rs 2,481.322 million in the year ended on September 30 as compared to Rs 724.536 million earned in the previous year. The earning per share of the company surged to Rs 300.87 in the period under review against Rs 93.57 in a year back.
The board of directors of the company, in its meeting held here, has recommended a final cash dividend for the year at Rs 60 per share, ie 600 percent making a total payout for the year of Rs 90 per share, ie 900 percent. Out of the retained earnings, Rs 1,000 million will also be transferred to general reserves.
The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) was informed that the net sales of the company increased to Rs 21.901 billion in this period against Rs 20.795 billion in the same period last year. The cost of sales stood at Rs 18.776 billion against Rs 18.344 billion.
