The Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar will organise a seminar on hepatitis prevention here on Saturday, for creating awareness in general public about the disease and establishing and promoting a healthier environment.
The eminent medical professionals from the city will deliver speeches to highlight the importance of the prevention for having protection from the disease which, according to an estimate, is affecting from 10 to 15 percent population of the country. The last session of the seminar will have a question-answer session, where the speakers will respond to the queries put up by the audience.
The audio-visual information material on the hepatitis, such as pamphlets and CDs will be distributed to the participants to make the program more productive by reaching out to a wider population.
