City Nazim, Syed Mustafa Kamal has said that before the opening of Family Park Green Belt, Mehmoodabad, Jamshed Town, five family parks have already been opened for the public.
Addressing the inauguration of the Family Park Green Belt, he said this park was a gift for Karachi Administration Society, PECHS Society and residents of Mehmoodabad, according to a statement issued here on Sunday.
Speaking about the available amusement facilities in the park, he said that swing for children, fountains, jogging tracks, sufficient lighting arrangements as well as varieties of flowers and trees were added to the park for its beautification.
He also expressed hope that the Jamshed Town administration will properly manager the affairs of the park. Speaking on the occasion, Nazim Jamshed Town, Javed Ahmed said that different projects were being executed at town level for beautification of park and roundabouts and establishment of mini zoos.
