The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has chalked out a plan to celebrate Anti-corruption Day by organising seminars and holding poster competition for youngsters in the metropolis.
Officials told Business Recorder here on Tuesday that NAB was going to organise seminars in nine districts in collaboration with City District Government Karachi (CDGK) for youngster, aimed to facilitate children in character building besides making them aware about this social evil.
"Corruption is a social evil, it is only be eradicated with joint efforts of every segment of society, hence NAB is going to organise seminars, with the aim to create awareness and get citizens to realise their obligations and responsibilities toward eradication of the menace", they added.
They apprised that NAB would invite colleges for participating in seminar and winners would be awarded lucrative cash prices. Moreover, poster competition will be organised for school children and the deadline of submitting posters will be Nov, 28, they said and added that winners would be awarded cash prices in a anti corruption conference at Islamabad, where acting Prime Minister is expected as Chief Guest.
They said that seminars on anti corruption would be started from December 5 till anti-corruption day, aimed to create adores against corruption among students besides gauging efficiency and affects of anti corruption measures on society.
