United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) has established a sub-office (information desk) at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) to facilitate the students who intends to get admission in US universities.
The office will also help and facilitate the students about various scholarships, preparation of scholarship forms, GRE, TOEFL, visa interviews, and reference letters. It is learnt that representatives of USEFP will visit UAF twice a month to meet the faculty and students for the purpose.
Addressing to the students in an introductory programme, advisors to USEFP Sardar Haider Hyiat and Zulfiqar Ali urged the students to make an effective liaison with directorate of research which will make arrangements for such meetings with students to answer their queries.
Sardar Haider Hyiat told the audience, that USEFP established three sub-offices at three universities of the country namely University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Bahauddin Zakria University Multan and Hazara University to facilitate and help the interested students.
Zulfiqar revealed that Fulbright scholarship is likely to be announced in February next year for Pakistani students. Assistant Director Research Dr Abdul Rashid told that various pamphlets, booklets and other information regarding USEFP and admission in US universities and colleges can be had from his office during office hours. On this occasion, two persons were chosen by a lucky draw for free preparation of TOEFL and GRE.
