ISLAMABAD: The Italian Embassy in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture will hold a concert of Italian Traditional Music on Saturday at Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA).
The show `Arie Del Mediterraneo' is an attempt to introduce traditional Italian music to the fun lovers of twin cities bringing excellent entertainment opportunities for them, said Tauqeer Nasir, Director General PNCA.
The melodic and rhythmic system of Italian music will open the doors of experiencing a unique class of music for Pakistani music listeners and practitioners, he said.
Tauqeer Nasir said the PNCA is arranging a variety of programmes in collaboration with other countries to capture the amalgamation of culture and traditions of visual and performing arts at home and abroad.
While this musical performance will also provide an opportunity for the Pakistani people to learn more about the culture and traditions of Italian music spirit that combines the rhythm of instruments with technique of vocals.
