The Punjab government would spend Rs 25 million on provision of clean drinking water to the residents of Bahawalpur. This was stated by Executive Engineer (XEN), Public Health Khalid Nadeem Bukhari while talking to newsmen here on Wednesday.
He also said that this amount would be spent on the different water supply schemes in Bahawalpur City and its adjoining areas. Khalid Nadeem said that with completion of those projects a large number of common people would enjoy the facility of clean drinking water and would also remain safe from water borne diseases.
