The Lahore High Court (LHC) has called for a report from the Board Area Committee following a petition filed by a military personal. Sahib Khan argued that he had received a piece of land in the cantonment area where he went to the committee to get a No Objection Certificate.
But the committee had his allotment cancelled and refused to give him a certificate and passed it onto the committee chairman instead. The court has issued status quo orders and notices to the committee.
