On the instructions of Central leadership of PML-N, former District Nazim Raja Tariq Mehmoob Kayani has filed his nomination papers for both NA-55 and NA-56 seats. Former Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) vice-chairman Ali Ahmed Kurd from Lawyers Panel also filed nomination papers for NA-55 and NA-56 seats.
Former Nazim Tariq Mehmoob Kayani along with PML leaders, Nazims, Naib Nazims, Councillors and elites of the area reached the District Kutchery and filed the nomination papers in the office of Returning Officer Shaukat Mehmood for NA-55 and with Returning Officer Khalid Ranjah for NA-56 seat.
Earlier, Ali Ahmed Kurd came from Quetta to Rawalpindi in police custody and filed their nomination papers for NA-55 and NA-56 seats. After filing the nomination papers, he was shifted to Quetta.
