Dry weather likely to prevail in country

Meteorological department forecast mostly dry weather over Punjab, NWFP and Kashmir during next few days. Continental air is prevailing over the country, according to Met office. In Balochistan and Sindh, dry weather is also likely to persist during next few days.
While weather forecast for earthquake affected areas is partly cloudy. Maximum temperature was 14 to 18 øC in low-lying areas, 23øC in Muzaffarabad, 10 to 14øC over the foothills of the Karakoram. Minimum temperature was 02 to 04øC in plain areas over and around Islamabad, 02øC in Muzaffarabad, but as low as -04 to 00øC in the highest villages.
