The JS Bank Limited formally inaugurated two of its branches here on Tuesday with one being located in Allama Iqbal Town and the other in the Defence Housing Authority (DHA). Bank President and Chief Executive Officer Naveed Qazi opened the JS Bank Limited in Allama Iqbal Town and Lahore DHA Association Chairman Talat Javed opened the other in the DHA the same day.
With the new branches, the JS Bank has now nine branches nation-wide - five in Karachi, three in Lahore and one in Islamabad. Qazi told reporters that the bank was planning to increase the number of branches to 50 by the next year. He also said the bank focused on customer banking, investment banking and corporate sector. "Opening of new branches, we would bring our customers a premium range of banking services and products.
Both of these branches are ideally located to cater to both commercial and individual clientele. The opening of our new branches in Lahore is further validation to our commitment towards excellence and brings us a step closer to reaching our expansion and growth objectives.
A bank spokesman said following the successful merger and amalgamation of the Jahangir Siddiqui Investment Bank Limited and the American Express Bank Limited's Pakistan branches, the JS Bank was expanding its foothold in Lahore.
