A cop was shot dead by unknown person in Mominabad, Orangi town in the wee hours on Wednesday. Police officials told Business Recorder that Muhammad Khalid was shot dead on his way back to home after duty. The deceased left behind his wife and three children to mourn his death.
Police registered the case and started investigation. In another incident, one, Mehboob Khan, was shot dead by Sarfarz Khan over some dispute. The body of the deceased was taken to Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre for autopsy.
Police registered case against Sarfarz Khan and arrested him. In yet another incident, one, Fayaz Gul was crushed dead by a rashly driven truck in Maripur area. Truck driver managed to flee after the accident.
