Musharraf praised for doffing uniform

Several candidates for the National Assembly belonging to district Vehari here hailed the decision of the President Pervez Musharraf to doff his army uniform and serve as a civilian President of the country.
Candidate for NA-167 Barrister Aurang Zeb Khichi, for NA-168 Chaudhry Nazir Ahmed Jutt and for NA-169 Aftab Ahmed Khan Khichi said that it was a wise decision of President Pervez Musharraf and augured well for a bright future of the motherland.
These candidates, who were also ticket-holders of the PML-Q, said that Pervez Musharraf's continuation as civilian President would ensure continuity in the ongoing economic policies which had set the country on the road to progress and development.
